class is a year long devising class.

In this class, students will explore one theme in depth:

Using
movement structures
•
Reading
and analyzing already published works, including scripts,
stories, novels, and poetry
•
Using
published works as basis for movement and story theater
pieces
•
Writing
and staging original scenes and monologues
•
Creating
original movement pieces
The culmination of this course will be a full-length
theater piece that explores and analyzes the theme of the
course. The production will include story theater,
movement, monologues, and scenes.
