Physics is a branch of science concerned with discovering and characterizing universal laws that govern matter, energy, space and time. Physics has been around since the first time someone wondered why unsupported objects fall, why different materials have different properties and why the moon and sun behave the way they do. Physics is know as the “Fundamental Science” other fields branches of science investigate systems whose properties depend on the laws of physics.
