ART HISTORY
Advanced art students will be studying art history in a very unique way. Students will be learning about specific art movements rather then individual artists. Research of a movement will be translated into miniature "postcard images" in the style that is being studied. Students will also be expected to visit an art museum, gallery,or art opening of their choice once a semester. The visit must be summarized with specific work sketched and discussed.

Sketchbooks are required and are a major portion of students grades. The sketchbook is an opportunity to present the creative and individual side of your personality. It is a personal journal about your art making.

- Log the date and approximate amount of time for each entry.
